No hypermarts in rural areas, says Federation
THE FEDERATION of Sundry Goods Merchants Associations of Malaysia is against the Government's move to encourage hypermarkets to open in rural areas, reported China Press. The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry had encouraged the hypermarkets to do so after its survey showed that the price of retailers and grocery shops were higher than the hypermarkets.  [The Star]
