Companies In Malaysia Realising Value Of Intellectual Property Assets
Most companies in Malaysia are realising the vital role that intellectual property (IP) assets play in revenue generation and valuation creation in today's globalised knowledge economy. However, more can be done by these companies to fully safeguard their innovations and exploit their IP rights, said David Llewelyn, external director and deputy chairman of the IP Academy Singapore. He said this in a statement concerning the Global Forum on Intellectual Property (GFIP) 2009 which will be held in Singapore on Jan 8 and 9 with the theme of "The Evolving Intellectual Property Ecosystem: Conflicts or Consensus?".  [Bernama]
