Shareholders reject proposal to de-list EON

At the EGM, the first resolution tabled was the proposed withdrawal of EON's listing status. The second was an offer by HICOM to acquire all the EON shares which it did not already own for RM2.10 each under the exit offer. EON's board of directors said the shareholders did not approve HICOM's proposed de-listing. Following the rejection, EON said HICOM would not proceed with the exit offer.  [The Star]

Tint rules under review

Existing rules on tinting of vehicles will be reviewed to make it easier for motorists to apply to increase tint levels.
