Corporate Tax Should Be Reduced, But Not Immediately
The corporate tax rate should be reduced further eventually and not on an immediate basis, an expert said today. Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Tax Services Sdn Bhd's country tax leader Ronnie Lim said although the current 25 percent tax was higher, Malaysia did offer a host of incentives, hence lowering the effective tax rate.
